This has nothing to do with Nike - the NFL has rules about giving advance notice before changing uniforms (unlike college).

Take a look at the new Seahawks uniforms...

The Seahawks' uniforms look awful ... as do Oregon, Virginia Tech, etc. Very 3A high school or (at best) ArenaLeague-esque.

Yes, I'm among those who hate Nike. I'll always support SMU, but I won't wear any of the Nike gear.

The "tradition" most of you refer to is from about a 10 year period 30 years ago. Yeah they bring up fond memories but you guys act like we'd be breaking a 100 year old heirloom uniform.
