Paterno on DP

Postby couch 'em » Fri Jul 20, 2012 6:00 am

Went looking for SMU talk on texags and found this quote:

" It's unbelievable to think that kind of corruption came right from the top of the power structure. The NCAA did what it had to do."

Also: Penn St. NAMBLA Lions
"I think Couchem is right."

Yes, Paterno was a hypocrite.

For those who don't know what NAMBLA is I would recommend not Googling it at a work computer...seriously....

National association of man-boy love of America, or something like that. Stern made a big deal about it about 12 or so years ago.

Yeah, how was he supposed to know he would be covering up for a child molester a few years later.

Don't know but you would think he would've thought twice about participating in "corruption from the top" down the road

One thing no one has commented on, paterno was catholic. You would have thought he would be sensitive to it after seeing what the catholic church went through on this issue.
