Gilbert visited with PonyFans.com to discuss the process of learning the offense, the status of his surgically repaired shoulder and the role his new teammates have played in his progress.

My initial thoughts as well, poised, intelligent, GG gets it and that is exciting. Hopefully Gilbert and the offense can jell quickly. Can someone tell me when practices are suppose to begin? Thank you for the interview PP, great job.

They repprt next Friday the 3rd and practice starts the 6th.

Call it a hunch, but I have a strong feeling that if our offensive line can come together well enough to keep Gilbert in one piece, he might just have a sensational season. Sure hope so!
