Wow!

I know why I barely visit these boards anymore.

Do any of you really believe all your hand wringing, be-atching, and moaning will accomplish a damn thing?

GRIEF!

Let the chips fall where they will and then respond accordingly.

All this speculation is going to make all of you go BLIND to accompany your already diagnosed DEAF and DUMB!

My Final Thought...

FIRE LANE KIFFIN!

Well said, the [deleted], moaning, and whining about the BE doesn't do a thing --

If it weren't for all the hand-wringing, be-atching and moaning there wouldn't be any traffic on this board. I'm sure USCs boards are filled with the same kind of posts.

I agree HB with one small caveat.

Your USC football program will be around regardless.

If we end up with 4 Super Conferences of 16 teams each, we are toast.

not toast- two options : div 1aa or shut down fball.. IMO the latter is the best. I just don't care to be at the level or denton colege or sam houston state.

I disagree. Yes, it's been 25 years of wandering and this season didn't pan out as hoped. However, we are blessed to be located in one of the top 3-5 markets in the country. It ain't over.

SMU almost got it right this year...SMU is Dallas...and we need to be more optimistic that Dallas can protect us. Networks, conferences, and teams want to play here.

When I recently reviewed my recruiting material from 1983-84...I can tell you every letter referenced Dallas and how SMU was tied to Dallas. We can still be important in this environment.

Redpony, that is my definition of toast.

actually, there will be a 3rd option. Be a bigger player at the small boy table. Just don't see how that would do anything other than burn cash.

Oh, and you think we are getting our a**ses handed to us by TCU, Baylor, Tech and A&M now?, just wait; and those are the only opponents that attract any fans to Ford.

At some point, economics have to take over.
