Some of the JJ supporters make it sound like Tech will go undefeated this year.

Yeah they've done the same thing the last 3 years. Talk up our talent and talk down the opponent's before the opener, then start backtracking after the game to make the opponent sound like a world beater to excuse the loss.

Is there no sense of irony left?

I know you're being facetious, but West Virginia is going to be gosh-awful this year (expected), but I wasn't expecting Kansas Sate to lay an egg! That came way out of left field.

Brand new QB and a bunch of new starters on defense versus the two time defending FCS champ returning almost all of their starters sporting a 4-2 record over BCS opponents under their current coach. Easiest FCS over FBS pick ever.

I don't think TT is bad, but they certainly aren't going to be in the top tier of the big 12.

If our offense executes in the third/early fourth, we win that game. We made too many mistakes and didn't have a true "playmaker" on offense or defense to be able to overcome them.

Last night was absolutely a winnable game.

and we may have played the worst Big XII team. I will be rooting for Tech to do well because I'd really like to believe we are better than what we showed last night.

yes, really...because I'd hate to think we just got smoked by the worst team in the Big X11 on our home field. If Tech finishes in last place in the Big XII, we might as well abandon all hope of ever playing football at the highest level again. And yes, from what I saw...it will say a lot about how weak the Big XII is if Tech is anywhere near the best team in the Big XII

I hope they are as good as TCU and that we can compete against our cross-town rivals

It'll come down to the QBs and LSU's QB kind of sucks.

Tech will finish middle of the back in the big 12. WV, Iowa State, Kansas, K State are definitely worse.
