Not even. Just need to hire a coach that can recruit DFW and win football games against decent competition. Larry Coker is doing much more in a nascent football program with so much fewer resources/facilities/smaller meeting rooms.

that may be the inevitable result (playing football at the "next level") of SMU having ignored the problem with this program for too many years. And don't think a sorry football program won't eventually destroy what Larry Brown and his staff have built

If we can't put in the minimum effort to be decent at this level, we won't at a lower level. Play at top level or kill program

If we want to keep playing with our current group of conference mates, we need to step it up on the gridiron, that's for sure

Just looking back to the UNT Texas game, UNT is so bad that we could beat them be 4 touchdowns and still not know if we have improved.

We could beat them by 10 TDs and we're still losing the next 4.

We should dump the UNT home and home agreement after it ends, and just keep renewing ours with TCU. I don't feel we should play them at all...little to gain and a lot to lose.
