I noticed ND plays 5 ACC schools each year over the next few years - I only checked 2024-2026 and we are not scheduled during those years. Pursuant to ND’s arrangement with the ACC, can they schedule more than 5 ACC teams in any one year ? Hoping we might sneak in !

We have 9 years to see what happens. Good question.

ND's scheduling agreement with the ACC is different than the regular ACC schedule.

Not only are Cal and SMU looking to be added to the mix, but what about Stanford? Will their 30+ year series with ND continue separately or be added to the ACC schedule?

I'm pretty sure I heard that Stanford will continue as a non-ACC affiliated matchup and won't affect the Notre Dame v ACC rotation.

The ND deal is that the Irish play 15 games vs. ACC football mimers over every 3 year period. Some years, ND parts 6 and some only 4. But it comes out to 15 over 3. In that period all ACC football members (then 14) played ND at least once. I have no idea how the ideal will work with 17 ACC football members. Obviously I;ld much ore that it become 18 games over 3 years so all ACC ,men,ebrs play ND least once in that window.
