SMU lands transfer OL from Florida State

Qae'Shon Sapp, a 6-4, 325-pound redshirt freshman at Florida State in 2023, announced on Twitter that he is committed to SMU.

Coming out of Leesburg (Lee County), Georgia, he reported offers from (in addition to Florida State) Alabama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Arizona State, USC, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas, Cincinnati, Arkansas, Auburn, Duke, East Carolina, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Mississippi State, NC State, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, West Virginia

He was committed to ECU before flipping to SMU. Looks like FSU is bringing in OL from Bama, Florida and a Harvard Grad transfer to upgrade their 2-deep so he might have been recruited over? Recruiting in the "free agency" era of college athletics is challenging and until a guy actually enrolls, who knows what a commitment means anymore!
