I'd be nice if you'd add SMU to your list. Stay home and let's pair the best big man in 2014 class with the best PG in the class. And you 'll have a MAA SG playing with you as well. Bring a national championship to Dallas. #shocktheworld

I couldn't even imagine. Apparently he and Mudiay are good friends...always a possibility

Back to Brown: no one has ever questioned his coaching chops, only his wanderlust and starting over in college at 71. But he’s on the ball, clearly, and may be moving into the conversation with Euless’s 6-11 Miles Turner.

Euless, for the record, is about a 20 minute drive from SMU.

Brown has quickly had success on the recruiting trail. Last year he was able to reel in top 100 recruits Keith Frazier and Sterling Brown. With the addition of Mudiay, it can only help in their pursuit of 6-foot-11 big man Myles Turner, who has SMU on his list.

Really weird that this text was posted on the Atlanta newspaper website. It was written by the Duke Basketball Report guys, who also made the enjoyable comment that while it's very interesting to see Larry Brown and SMU beat Kentucky, Kansas, Okie State, and Baylor, it's also fascinating that a 5-star recruit in Texas doesn't appear to have seriously considered that university in Austin.

I do hope, contrary to the article, that UT keeps Rick Barnes for a long, long time.

I think it all just changed. Hearing Brown doesn't like how outta shape big Elbert is, that Mudiay is going after Turner, and we'll prob get a visit from Lattin. Slow playing Wacker

What does the underlined portion of the following mean:

While Brown's first season at the helm didn't bring all that much success -- the Mustangs went 15-17 overall and 5-11 in Conference USA -- he made several few statements on the recruiting trail.

Looks like the writer started to say several and then realized he might be a little strong and meant to change it to a few without deleting several.
