Just tuned in and see SMU up 34-29. We have 9 assists on 14 made FGs so it would appear we are moving and sharing the ball better than we did finishing at Wichita State. Also have a 20-14 rebound advantage which suggests more effort and SMU has 7 offensive boards while Tulane has only one. Good start tonight and good balance scoring once again

25-16 rebound advantage allowed SMU to get 7 more FG attempts than Tulane. Phelps & Harris with 7 points. T. Smith and Williamson with 6 each and Wright with 5. Love seeing balanced scoring. Phelps with 2 of SMU's 4 steals...moving on up that career steals list

52-33 rebounding advantage for SMU and we can only manage a 4 point win. Guys shot only 41% on FGs and 23% from three while Tulane hit 46% and 35%, respectively. Good thing our guys converted 75% on their FTs because that's what it took to preserve this win. This game tells you that SMU winning @ Tulane is going to be a really tall order

We did get sloppy with 3 late turnovers to allow Tulane to cut that 11 point lead down quickly

SMU finishes with 5 guys in double figures lead by T. Smith and Wright. Might not see that again this year. Williamson with another double double 10 points and 13 rebounds and added 4 assists and a block. Ambrose-Hylton with 11 rebounds in just 19 minutes tonight

T. Smith and Wright had their 16 points in 21 and 20 minutes respectively. Impressive
