Possibly 7 spots to fill and only 3 new incoming so far (2 FR recruits and 1 transfer G). Remains to be seen whether everyone currently in the portal leaves and whether everyone NOT in the portal stays. Iwuchukwu would be a nice addition to the post and a rotation with him, Tyreek, Keon & Ja'Heim would be competitive at the 4/5. If Holmes comes in and can contribute right away, that's a bonus...or he could RS for development? It would be nice to land a talented wing to give us someone at the 3 who can defend, board and be another scoring threat (another Williamson with a better shooting touch). Don't know if Puryear can contribute as a true FR at that position but would be nice to find a proven talent at the 3. Harris, Jalen & Edwards have all shown they can handle, defend and knock down threes so hopefully they all stay but can't have enough 3 point gunners in today's game so hopefully Enfield and staff can find another perimeter shooter or two.

Someone named Jamie Shaw tweeted that Jalen Smith is now in the portal, too.

Also, it's here:

So with Jalen also moving on, hopefully Coach Enfield and staff have several talented guards lined up to replace last year's backcourt. Hopefully Harris & Edwards stay!

Looks like just about a complete roster overhaul, like Pitino did last year at St. John's. Definitely will give us a glimpse of what kind of recruiting reach Enfield and his staff have. If they can put together a decent roster after getting a late start, that bodes well for the future.

Denver Anglin announced on social media that he's following Rob Lanier to Rice

With Tyreek Smith now entering the portal, this new staff is now really under pressure to bring in some talented bigs

Appears he committed to Pitino so now only Kijani Wright still undecided (among Enfield's big men at USC). Still plenty of spots to fill as next year's roster is probably going to look VERY different headed into ACC play

I would think a "scoring wing" to replace Williamson would be on our wish list. Here's another "local" who left the area and I wonder if he'd like to come home to finish his college career in Dallas?

With Rice losing 2 of their top guards after the Lanier hiring, I would expect Jalen to play a much larger role and I've always thought playing with Phelps was holding him back. Will be interesting to see how he does next year.

Haven't see what Hudson is doing. He might be a 4th returnee?
