Women's Tennis National Indoor UPDATE No. 2

After dropping their first match Thursday to the duo from DePaul, 8-5, Pavi and Marta took out the pair from host Yale early Friday morning, 8-4, to advance to the Semifinals of the consolation draw at the National Indoor Doubles Championship.

They played the California tandem of Andersson and Juricova Saturday. Andersson and Juricova won the NCAA doubles title in 2009 and Pavi and Marta fought hard, but fell 9-7. Good effort all around by the ladies! Time to enjoy the holidays and get focused for the spring.

The rest of the team is finishing out the fall season at the Alonti Cougar Fall Draw in Houston, hosted by UH.
