Men's Soccer on national cable tonight

Postby mustangbill67 » Fri Oct 21, 2005 9:31 am

The SMU soccer match with Tulsa today will be broadcast live at 7 pm CDT from Tulsa on the Fox Soccer Channel. This is channel 401 on Dallas Comcast. I believe this is the college game of the week.

I rushed home and managed to see the last five minutes which in an SMU soccer game appears to be the part to watch. Two goals in the last four minutes.

I saw some of the Tulsa soccer players when I was up there Saturday for the football game. They heckled me for the football game, and I asked them how the soccer game -- the last home game in their careers, because I highly doubt they'll host an NCAA game, if they even get a bid -- turned out.

They got reeeeeeeally quiet after that.

Way to go, Mustangs!

I really like the way this team just doesn't quit. I don't know if its conditioning or what, but they just stepped it up in the last five minutes and boom, boom, we win.
