In the final NSCAA poll UCLA was ranked 7, VA tech 12 and SMU 14. UNC Greensboro was not ranked (they are ranked in some other polls). Hopefully, with the fairly good attendance we had last Tuesday, our higher ranking and a solid victory over a much higher ranked team, we should get the home field.

Attendance does play a role in determining which team hosts. And the NSCAA poll is the one that matters -- all of those magazine and website polls are meaningless.

Has it been officially determined that we're hosting? If we host, we need a HUGE turnout (to increase the possibility of hosting ANOTHER round).

Dress warm and spend the day at The Boulevard, watching the football team knock off UTEP and watching the men's soccer team crush UNC-Greensboro!

You would think that we could get support for a team that is doing well

Alas, the Ponies are headed back out on the road.
But hey, we beat UCLA, we sure as hell can beat UNCG! Great win last night, guys!

Go MUSTANGS!

I'm rooting for the Ponies and UVa this weekend. Charlottesville is 2 hours away.

How about this? 50-some posts on a thread about a soccer game that was 1,500 miles away and ended at nearly midnight (central time) last night!

Nice work, PonyFans!
