Congratulations to Colt Knost for winning the Dixie AM, it is one of the biggest amateur tournaments in the country and gave SMU some good publicity.

How come it wasn't in the DMN? Of course they wouldn't go cover it -- fill in your own anti-DMN joke here -- but don't they at least regurgitate SMU press releases for golf?

I followed Colt around at the Morris Williams Collegiate Tournament in Austin last year. He is a very good golfer, a fine young man, and a gentleman; as are all of Coach Loar's young men.
