NCAA 2006 Women's Swimming Div. 1 Championship Update

3/16/2006 - The No. 9 women's swimming team wrapped up day one of the NCAA Championships in Athens, Georgia along with 31 other teams. Twelve SMU swimmers qualified for about three events a-piece at the NCAAs. After day one, the Mustangs are in 9th place.

Good job on Day 1, now we need to up the ante on Day 2.

Looking at the prelim results, Day 2 is not as good as Day 1. Let's hope for a big day in Day 3 with Rigamonti and Carmen in the 1650.

Great to see the Women beat both Texa$ and Texas A$M. They finished strong in the 1650 Free and Relay to place 7th Nationally. Congrats to all involved.
