Men's tennis blanks Army, 7-0
Mustangs are 13-5 on the season

DALLAS (SMU) - #60 SMU men's tennis team blanked #71 Army this afternoon, 7-0. The Mustangs improve to 13-5 on the season and remain undefeated at home.

In singles action, Alex Skrypko controlled Eddie Kang for a, 6-0, 6-1, win at No. 3 while #56 Peter Oredsson prevailed over John Houghton, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 1. No. 6 followed with Oivind Alver defeating Sean Harris, 6-1, 6-2.

Federico Murgier posted a, 6-1, 6-1, win over Phil Muhawi at No. 2 and Henrik Soderberg outlasted Michael Good at No. 4, 6-2, 6-4. David Kuczer came from four games down in the second set to defeat Kevin Harris, 6-4, 6-4, at No. 5.

The Mustangs concluded with the doubles as No. 1 and No. 3 saw wins. At No 1, Skrypko and Kuczer paired for the, 8-3, win over Houghton and K. Harris. Murgier paired with Soderberg to defeat Muhawi and S. Harris, 8-6, at No. 3. Alver and Oredsson were unable to come out with the win at No. 2 as they fell to Good and Kang, 8-5.

The Mustangs are slated to host TCU on Tues., April 4 at 2 p.m.
