Looked sharp? According to who? Surely the DMN didn't cover a women's soccer spring exhibition game.
Not to get hung up on actual facts, but who scored the goals?

SMU's aggressive play paid off in dividends. Kimber Bailey got SMU on the scoreboard at the 9:16 mark in the first half. Teammate Kirsten Moran gave SMU a 2-0 edge at the 20:14 mark off a feed from Jena Lind. In the second half, SMU battled against a more offensive-minded Chinese team and the Mustang defense prevailed. SMU's Olivia O'Rear scored the third goal of the game with 18:23 remaining in the second half. One of SMU's defensive highlights came with 1:52 remaining in the game when Mustang goalkeeper Ashley Gunter made a diving save off a China penalty kick to preserve the shutout.
