Rigamonti is C-USA swimmer of the year

Flavia Rigamonti was named Conference USA's Swimmer of the Year.

The senior broke two meet and pool records in winning the 500- and 1,650-yard freestyle titles at the C-USA championships. She is a four-year All-American and a five-time NCAA champion.

Congrats Flavia for a terrific season!

It's a shame SMU gets nothing but negative press like the basketball team cheating and the football team sucking when there are fantastic SMU athletic stories in other sports every day.
