Watching the US Women's Soccer National team beating Canada (1-0, at the moment). Former SMU midfielder Marci Miller picked up a yellow card for a tackle from behind that would have made Justin Rogers proud. Moments later, Canada (and former SMU) goalkeeper Erin McLeod made a pair of sensational saves.
I still can't figure out how Greg Ryan got the head coaching spot with this team. Alan Kirkup, George Van Linder and John Cossaboon are all better coaches.

All the coaches you mentioned are good.. but they're also not in the right circles. I know that for a fact having both Kirkup and Cossaboon worked with me in High School. Plus.. they've had great "gigs" in their own right..
