Ponies 2006 soccer class rated 7th

ESPN and College Soccer News have rated the SMU 2006 13 recruit class as the seventh best in the nation behind UCLA, Indiana, NC, Maryland, New Mexico and UConn. NC, NM and Maryland all have top Dallas area players as recruits. This ranking does not take into consideration the return of Jeff Harwell and Adrian Chevannes to the team.

Chevannes will be a nice addition to the defense, but Harwell's return will be a huge boost to the midfield. He has great technical skill, and he plays with a nasty edge that the team needs. Getting these guys back is a real coup for Coach Hyndman.
