SMU athletes reach out to community

DALLAS (SMU) – The entire SMU Track and Field Team, Katy Cobb and Brittney Baker of women’s Basketball along with Danielle Nehf and Kelly Marie McKinley of women’s rowing will be present at the L.I.T.E. (Lifting Individuals Through Education) Back to School Supply Drive on Saturday, August 26 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event is held at Forest Lane Academy (9663 Forest Lane) in North Dallas. They will be handing out school supplies to the young kids as the kids get ready for another great school year. This drive will positively affect the educational growth of the surrounding community by equipping families in need with school supplies.
