USA Today Cover Story / Campus Fires

In January of 1978, I lost a friend and a brother in the devastating fire at the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity house. St. Louisian and SMU soccer player Stephen McKee Lewis lost his life that January night. Steve was a spirited, fun loving and likeable guy who never met a stranger.....I think of him often as he is sorely missed.
