Has anyone seen the Wandering Golfer on 232 - Fine Living (Directv)?

Did you see UT's practice facility...super impressive. I am glad we are getting things done at DAC but they have a top notch facility.

Since you mentioned the Golf Ladies, I thought I should share this bit of good news:

DALLAS (SMU) - The SMU women's golf team is ranked 20th in the nation in Golfweek's preseason rankings, the outlet announced in its Sept. 9 issue. The ranking is SMU's highest since the 1992 season, when the Mustangs finished 15th in the NCAA Tournament.

Individually, SMU will be led by junior Lacey Jones and senior Jennifer Ackerson, who are rated 84th and 121st, respectively, by Golfweek.

The SMU women will open the 2006 season on Sept. 18, when they travel to Lubbock for the Jeannie McHaney Invitational. The Mustangs will have to open the year down one of their top players, as senior Laura Cross is still sidelined with an injury.

SMU will play a qualifying event this week to determine its starting five for the opening event.

How about that? The womens Golf Team is definitely looking good, particularly Jones, and Ackerson. Cant wait to see Cross get back out there, hope she rehabs soon. Anyone know when they will play close to home?

The Men's golf team finished 2nd at their first event Sunday in Chicago.
Sr. Colt Knost (tied for co-medalist) won his 4th collegiate event!
Colt was also chosen as a pre-season all-american by Golfweek!
