Score tied 1-1 in 56 minute on a SMU own goal. Do not know who the ball went off of. Very unlucky!

Oh. well. My guess is that Clemson will leapfrog us to #1 this week. They're still unbeaten and untied and beat UNC last night 1-0. Interesting how SMU and Clemson, the two surprise final four teams last year, are doing so well and Maryland and New Mexico are struggling. Let's beat Dayton on Sunday and then we can focus on conference play which will not be easy this year. Tulsa, Memphis, UAB, UCF, So. Carolina and Kentucky all have decent teams this year. Funny how adding us to CUSA made the conference from one of the worst in soccer to one of the best. Sort of like when Houston joined the SWC, it went from the worst basketball conference to one of the better ones because no one wanted to be embarrassed.
