Ponies were No. 2.
Top-ranked Wake Forest lost.
And Puke jumps to the top?
Well .... puke.

As long as the Ponies win the REST of their games, this ranking means nothing.

Go Ponies!

We should be seeded 1 or 2 for the tourney. My guess has been #2. We beat the 4 ranked team, 11th ranked team, tied New Mexico #10, beat #20, and beat the #24 team twice. Except for a problem with UAB, we had a great year. Duke won a ton of ACC games and six ACC teams were ranked in the Top 10 by the Soccer Coaches. With 48 bids going out, it looks like SMU and Kentucky will get two of them. Will South Carolina, UAB or Memphis sneak in for bids? My bet is the South Carolina gets a bid because except for Soccer its in a BCS conference, and we all know the NCAA powers have their noses pretty far up BCS hiney.

South Carolina should -- that's a terrific team. Part of the reason they lost to UAB in the CUSA tournament is because Ayo Akinsete, the guy who scored the tying goal against us, got a red card and got tossed, meaning they played a man short, giving up the deciding goal to UAB with less than a minute left.

SC was ranked somewhere in the teens when they came to Dallas, and appeared to be grossly underranked.
