DALLAS (SMU) - SMU junior Rachael Forish (Arlington, Texas) has been selected to the 2006 Division I Women's All-America Cross Country team as announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Tuesday. Way to go Rachael. She is one of the best runners I have ever seen. She was top 10 twice at 5A state when she ran for Arlington Lamar and was back-to-back Region I champion in Lubbock. She has incredible endurance and negotiates hills very well.

The girl has definitely earned her scholarship here and will go down in running annals as one of the greats who ever ran for this University. We are very lucky to have her.
