Final Four

Postby mustangbill67 » Mon Nov 27, 2006 12:29 pm

The men's soccer championship is this weekend in St. Louis. No. 1 seed Duke was upset by UCLA yesterday. UCLA will play Virginia in one semifinal and UCSB will play Wake Forest in the other. Wish we were there.

I guess there is some consolation in UCSB making it this far. Shows they may have been far better than they were seeded.

UCSB beat UCLA 2-1 to win the College Cup. That makes two years in a row where SMU has been eliminated by the eventual champion. Tough luck to be seeded against them in the early rounds.
