St. Louis, Mo. (SMU) - Two SMU men's soccer players garnered NSCAA All-America honors, as announced by the organization Friday. Named to the NSCAA All-America first team is senior defender Jay Needham (Ft. Worth, Texas) while sophomore midfielder Bruno Guarda (Piricicaba, Brazil) earned NSCAA All-America third team honors. This marks the 14th year since 1990 where SMU has had at least one All-America selection.
The honorees will be invited to the NSCAA All-America Luncheon, which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13, as part of the 2007 NSCAA Convention.
