The U.S. men's soccer national team is playing (and beating) Denmark right now, and former SMU signee Kenny Cooper (FCDallas) just came in. Holy crap, this guy looks like a power forward out there, and the announcers sound like they absolutely worship the guy.
He should still be at SMU, right? Wouldn't the 2007 season be his senior season?
Losing him (I know, you can't blame a guy for signing with Manchester United) is a real shame. He would have been a great Mustang.

I wonder if Schellas is still smarting from the Cooper defection. Apparently it cost us some other stud who we did not sign because we had Cooper committed. In any event, I do not blame him for his decision and I am glad he is with FC Dallas. Life goes on.
