Two Pony Girl's Track Recruits Honored!

In today's DMN SportsDay Highschool section, Samantha Means (Sr, McKinney North) and Gayla Cloud (Sr. DeSoto) were named All Area Track and Field.

Samantha Means won the 4A 3,200 in 10:45.23 and was second in the 1,600 in 5:01.85. She was, "nominated for prom queen at her school and voted most likely to be famous."

Gayla Cloud was second in 5A 100 hurdles in 13.95 and the 300 hurdles in 42.37. She is, "thinking about trying to become a dentist after college."
