WACO, Texas (SMU)-SMU's Kate Ackerson won medalist honors at the Baylor Spring Invitational at Twin Rivers Golf Club on Tuesday, March 17, carding a three-round total of 223 (74-74-75) to claim a two-stroke win.
As a team, SMU took seventh in the 14-team field at 941. The Mustangs also celebrated a top-15 performance from freshman Jennifer Hooper (75-80-78-233), who finished tied for 14th.
