Would anyone here on ponyfans want to or know anyone who would like to be a sponsor of this race?
We are currently working to host a racing event that would be facilitated and insured by the USA Cycling Foundation and we will be having at least 4 races
...one collegiate, hopefully this will serve as a race to see how we stack up against the other programs in our conference (the SCCCC...still working on how to say this properly without it sounding dumb)
the other three will be A,B, and C class races open to Dallas/Metroplex racers.
We want to establish a preeminent cycling race that SMU can known for like The little 500 at IU or the Twilight Criterium at UGA.
We would really appreciate any support to aid in planning or sponsoring the event.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
