The No. 22 Women's Tennis team took out BYU, 4-1, this morning in a nail-biter, despite how the final score looks.

We won a hard-fought dubs point and then took points at 3, 4 and 5 singles. Senior Pavi Francis closed it out with a second-set tie-breaking win at No. 3. Freshman Shahazoda Hatamova also won her second set in a tie-breaker at No. 4. Newcomer Edyta Cieplucha won easily in her first singles action of the spring since become eligible, 6-2, 6-1.

The ladies at the top of the line up had both dropped their first sets, won their second and were leading early in their respective third sets.

Nice match, ladies. Way to go, Pavi! Looks like Marta and Sasha had their hands full.
