Sunday's match against William & Mary has been designated as a "RED OUT." All fans are asked to wear red to show support for the Mustangs.

SMU vs. WILLIAM & MARY
This is the first ever meeting between SMU and William & Mary. The Tribe is the No. 12 seed in the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Round of 16 on penalty kicks after playing to a 0-0 tie against UMBC. William and Mary is 15-3-3 this season and won the Colonial Athletic Association title. The Tribe has made 14 NCAA appearances and collected seven CAA titles in its program's history.

MUSTANGS NO. 5 SEED IN NCAA TOURNAMENT
SMU is the No. 5 seed in the NCAA Tournament and received a first round bye. The Mustangs are making their 27th appearance in the tournament and hold a 30-21-6 all-time record in NCAA postseason play. SMU advanced to the College Cup in both 2000 and 2005.

SMU NO. 7 IN NSCAA POLL
The Mustangs are No. 7 in the final regular season NSCAA/HendrickCars.com National Rankings. SMU ranks first in the Midwest regional rankings.

HOW SWEET IT IS!
SMU twice rebounded from one-goal deficits to earn a 2-2 tie with Creighton, and then won a penalty-kick shootout, 5-3, in the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament Nov. 21. Freshman Juan Castillo started the Mustang rally when he headed in a cross from junior Ian Kalis in the 79th minute. The goal was his team-leading 10th tally of the season. Junior Arthur Ivo netted his ninth goal of the season with just 15 seconds remaining in regulation to knot the game at two and keep the season alive for SMU. Ivo fired a bullet from 30 yards out that was deflected by a Creighton defender up and over Bluejay goalie Brian Holt. After two scoreless overtime periods, the teams went to a shootout. SMU won in penalty kicks, making all five goals, while Creighton netted three. Goalkeeper Craig Hill stopped the Bluejays' second attempt to give the Mustangs the advantage. Ivo locked up the win by converting SMU's fifth shot. Hill collected a season-high 11 saves on the night for the Mustangs.

SOUTH CAROLINA STUMPS SMU
SMU was defeated by South Carolina 2-1 in a Conference USA Championship semifinal Nov. 12. Ivo scored SMU's lone goal in the 30th minute when he received a pass from Kekoa Osorio and fed the ball in to the far lower corner from just inside the 18 yard box. South Carolina responded, netting the equalizer in the 45th minute and the game-winner in the 50th minute.

WHOA NELLIE!
SMU finished the regular season by defeating FIU 2-1 in overtime Nov. 5. Senior Josue Soto opened the scoring with a goal just 2:24 in to the game. The ball was served in to the box and bounced around before Soto gained control and sent it in his sixth goal of the season and a 1-0 Mustang lead. Sophomore T.J. Nelson netted the game-winner in the 99th minute when he gathered a rebound and fired it home for his second goal of the season. Both of Nelson's tallies have been overtime game-winners. His other goal came in the 103rd minute of the Mustangs' 3-2 double-overtime win against Missouri State in the season opener.
