SMU Tennis

Postby RGV Pony » Fri Jan 21, 2011 9:25 pm

Saw this write up on an upcoming match and it reminded me that last year one of the tennis coaches posted on the board about getting ponyfans out there. As I recall there was talk of outdoor grilling etc. Perhaps Team Milo's could fire up for a tennis outing on an inviting Friday afternoon

RGV, here is the link from yesterday's win. They play again today (Saturday) against ULM and we already have ribs on the grill! Not sure we'll have food to feed a whole Army, but we'd love for anyone to come out and enjoy some tennis.

Check out the rest of the home schedule on the SMU website as well and plan to come out. They also play on Sunday agianst UTSA. The team is fun to watch and very talented and would love for some loud supporters!

Thanks for remebering the call for fans and we hope to see you (and your friends) at a match this season.

when it's an excuse to hang around w/ ponyfans, and an excuse to drink, maybe not in that order, it's not bad. At least that's what I'm thinking. Went to my first soccer game in probably 20 years this season and enjoyed it.

Bill, hopefully we drag OTP out there...would be fun to have 10-15 of the regulars..maybe round up Team Milos

Highly competitive tennis can be fun to watch in person, whether you play or not.
