Distance Medley Team Sets Record At C-USA Indoor Championships

Feb. 26, 2011

HOUSTON (SMU) --- The SMU track and field team started Conference USA Indoor Championships with an impressive win in the Distance Medley relay. The team, composed of Mary Alenbratt (1200m) Egheosa Osawemwenze (400m), Lovisa Lindh (800m) and Silje Fjortoft (1600m), notched a school-record with an 11:37.87 finish, which bested second place by over 15 seconds.

This is the second school record in a couple of weeks. Coach Wollman and his staff are doing a hell of a job with the track program.
