For the second day in a row, the SMU Women's Tennis Team (23-5) found itself in a tense back and forth battle in the NCAA Championships, and once again the Mustangs prevailed by a thrilling 4-3 score, this time over 12th-seeded Florida State. The victory sends the team to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the first time since 1987.
