Posted: Sun Jun 12, 2011 2:39 pmColt trying to prove me wrong and finish strong? birdie at 13 gets him to one under today and minus 5 for the tourney. A couple more birdies coming home might net him a top 10 finish and close to 6 figure paycheck

Posted: Sun Jun 12, 2011 4:03 pm..got it back to -6, but a 5, 5 finish cost Colt some much needed cabbage...not really sure what the problem is here? Conditioning? Very few, and I mean VERY few of these guys on Tour look like Colt...lifestyle, his FaceBook page shows a pretty steady party life...if I was his age, on Tour, etc., I would probably party too...I am pulling for theguy, hard. Hope he takes some MO from this week onward!?!

Posted: Mon Jun 13, 2011 9:14 amLet's hope John Daly is not his role model. There were some partiers and tubbies who did well, Craig Stadler, Ray Floyd, but that was a different era. You don't need to be in great shape for a great short game, but it sure helps to win when you're not tired from lugging 275 and a hangover around the course.
