If there is one he needs to read the Raymond Floyd biography. He playboyed around too much and then finally got serious and became a star.

I noticed he did not qualify for the U.S. Open. Oh well. I guess he can play on Monday/Tuesday in the Caremark Charity Classic in Rhode Island.

let's just hope he uses the break to stay sharp and comes out "hot" after the Open when some of the top guns will be taking a break from the game. Chance to move up the money list...just like Memphis was

Making a run in the 3rd round. 5 under for the day after 13. Makes him 10 under for the tournament and 2 shots out of the lead.

One of my favorites, Bryce Molder from Conway, Arkansas, is a co-leader right now, so between he and Knost I am enjoying watching.

Colt is even for the day through 8. Front nine is harder than the back so he may be playing it safe. He has only had 2 birdies all week on the front. Needs to step it up once he gets to the back nine. He's had 9 birdies on the back this week. Would love to see him finish in the top 15 or so. Sitting tied for 24th right now but one birdie would put him in a tie for 15th. There is a big log jam of players between 9 and 12 under. Two birdies would put him tied for 7th.

plus one thru 12; he will really need a strong finish for a decent paycheck. This is an important week for keeping that card

plus 2 now thru 17 and dropped all the way to T-47; oh well, keep playing events and making cuts; got a ways to go to get into that top 125

Got a paycheck. On to the next event. Hopefully, he can keep making cuts and get himself into contention with four good rounds.

Should have done better. Left a lot of money on the course. This was a tournament he really needed to do well in. Lot of the top players out of action.

Looks like he's not playing in the AT&T Invitational.

Shot 1 over today in the John Deere Classic. Going to have to hump it to make the cut. Right now he is tied for 116th.
