Men's Soccer Fall Alumni Game/Socia​l

SMU Soccer Alumni – The SMU Men’s Soccer Team is approximately 3 weeks from the start of preseason training. We are excited to build on the success of last season’s NCAA Elite 8 run. We return a solid core of talented players who know what it means to be a SMU Soccer Player and understand how to play the “SMU WAYâ€. We are adding another excellent incoming class that will push the level of the returning players. We can’t wait to get started! We would like to announce that the annual Jordan Mann Alumni Game will take place on Saturday evening 8/20. The Alumni will play each other on Westcott Field with a social event to follow. The exact time of the game is still being finalized but we anticipate a 7pm kickoff. An additional email will confirm the kickoff time and social location. The SMU Men’s Team will play our final preseason game on Sunday 8/21. The current team will be attending the Alumni game and they look forward to meeting and mingling with the Alums. Please pass this message on to all alumni that you still keep in contact with. We also noticed an increased alumni attendance at our games last season and we hope that this trend continues in 2011. We are hoping to organize a few alumni tailgating events before home games this season. If you are interested in taking the lead and organizing a tailgating event before a home game please let me know.
