Taylor Robinson update

SMU midfielder Taylor Robinson, who was helped from the field during the first half of the SMU women's soccer team's exhibition tie Aug. 14 against Oklahoma State, underwent surgery Thursday to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

I hope everything goes well with her recovery. I guess the only bright side is if you are going to tear an ACL it's better to do it early in the season so you can have a full recovery before next season. We will certainly miss her contributions in a shallow midfield this season.

Still, that's three knees the team has had in less than a year. I hope we have paid our penance to the knee gods.
