SMU generated 5 corners in the final five minutes of the first half!

Very even first half. Both teams generated some decent chances, both teams had some defensive lapses that led to good chances. Both teams had control for a few minutes at a time.

SMU used the usual first half subs. Scovill, Hartweck, Elliott, then Gaines at forward (with Hartweck eventually moving to right back for Larson). Ambrose in at midfield for Bartol.

To be fair, I would have tipped OU to be the slightly better side in the first half until SMU was in total control of the final five minutes.

The second half certainly shapes up to be quite interesting.

The team didn't really complain so I would have to assume it was the right call.
