Man, after watching that video I think these girls are overconfident and ripe for a big upset tonight! :)

Now you've done it. That dude will write another 4 page post on all the gatorade all-americans that UCLA signed in their last class.

Underway in LA!

Starting lineup: Webb; Smith, Cox, Eidson, Larson; Clarke, Baum, Bartol; Hartweck, Redman, Lewis

1-0 UCLA.

Sydney Leroux in the 9th minute. Sounds like she broke through two defenders and got in alone on Webb.

Sounds like the Mustangs are playing some pretty solid defense. The goal was UCLA's first shot.

SMU with their first real chance in the 19th minute on a free kick. Baum took the kick and it was apparently bouncing around in the area but Lewis couldn't quite get to it.

These announcers are impressive. Very knowledgeable and they are pronouncing everybody's name correctly.

Baum just had a great shot but it sounds like their keeper made a great save.

30 minutes in. Still 1-0 UCLA.

Shots: SMU 1, UCLA 2
Shots on goal: SMU 1, UCLA 2
Corners: SMU 0, UCLA 2
Fouls: SMU 3, UCLA 3

Announcers particularly complimentary of Webb, Baum, and Clarke so far.

First corner for SMU in the 31st minute but to no avail.

Sounds like we are starting to settle into this one a little bit. The early minutes sounded like UCLA domination and SMU just trying to take it, but we are starting to generate a few offensive chances now.

Clarke draws a free kick around 30 yards out. Smith takes it and it leads to an SMU flurry in front of the UCLA net before Ambrose shoots wide.

The announcer was talking about the "relentless SMU attack". :)

38th minute. Still 1-0 UCLA.

Only SMU subs so far are Scovill and Ambrose for Lewis and Larson.

41st minute. Still 1-0 UCLA.

Elliott in for Redman.

It sounds like we have a decent amount of supporters in the crowd - the announcers even mentioned it.

Nigh now in for Scovill. No idea what formations we are using tonight...

I imagine we are in a very defensive set though.

UCLA 1, SMU 0 HT

SMU had a nice little flurry at the end of the first half after a free kick by Smith from near midfield.

Shots: SMU 1, UCLA 3
Shots on goal: SMU 1, UCLA 2
Corners: SMU 1, UCLA 3
Fouls: SMU 6, UCLA 6

Other than giving Sydney Leroux a breakaway, SMU played a pretty decent first half. UCLA certainly dominated possession, but SMU is growing into the match.

It should be an "interesting" second half. :)
