Men's soccer eliminated by No. 10 Akron

Just for informational purposes - Charlotte eliminated Akron 1-0 tonight.

No idea how the game was (there was a free stream but it was horrible). Charlotte took five yellow cards, so they must have taken it to Akron physically. Of course, that means Charlotte had to have the speed to catch the Akron players as well.

I knew this negative talk was started by redpony...he just will never give credit to the soccer programs no mater what they do....not worth discussing with him. They had a top 5 recruiting class and won the CUSA Tournament..????? They are just fine and will have another top recruiting class and are a rising program. I went last week and saw the team and Akron was really good with good skill players and SMU just didn't get off to a good start, nothing wrong with that. Better luck next year as it was a bad seed vs. Akron. They beat big time programs over the last two years and won the NCAA D-1 tournament last year>>????.... so we should be embarrassed?
