In what seems like forever the US men's national soccer team finally beat Italy in a WC friendly. Looks like Klinsman is going to take this team a lot further than Bradley ever did. Wish we could get a coach like him.

First win ever for the US over Italy (dating back to 1934). We were 0-7-3 against them until today.
To win it in Italy is absolutely huge.
The US women also beat Denmark 5-0 today in their opener in the Algarve Cup.
What a great day for US Soccer.

I was able to watch it on big screen TV. We looked great the first half- a little less so the second half.
