Equestrian - SMU in Championship Bracket!

Not only did SMU make the Hunter Seat bracket for the NCEA National Championships - we are seeded No. 5!

1. Auburn
2. South Carolina
3. Georgia
4. Baylor
5. SMU
6. New Mexico State
7. Texas A&M
8. TCU
9. Kansas State
10. Fresno State
11. Oklahoma State
12. Tennessee-Martin

The National Championships will be held April 11-14 in Waco.

Congratulations to Coach Schoolfield and everybody on the team for a great season this year and for all of the work to turn things around after not being selected for the championship bracket last season.

Currently 23. The goal is to get to 40 which will allow it to be a full NCAA sport with a sanctioned NCAA championship.

Yes! In men's soccer, women's swimming, and equestrian. Only 13 more sports to go! :)
