I still go back to the "skip the Masters / British Open" move after winning the USGA Publinks...maybe the cat's head is NOT right?? Too bad......come on, Kelly Kraft, give us some hope. He was always on the big side, but the last time I saw him, it looked like he'd gained a lot of weight. That can take its toll when walking a golf course in 100 degree heat in MS in July. Dieting is tough on the road especially when the boys want to go for a drink or two after a round and suddenly its 9 p.m. and fast food places are there. But he somehow needs to put effort into that.

definitely in a slump. we can speculate all day long and conditioning might have something to do with it, but Colt was never what you would call slim. Stadler (the Walrus) had a great career despite being one of the big guys in his generation. Let's remember he still hasn't won on this tour. He's just one of the guys out there trying to keep his card and that strong showing at the Heritage put him in position to do it. Still a lot of golf to be played. Will be watching and pulling for him, but I also hope our new golf coach is able to recruit the next Payne Stewart caliber golfer to SMU so we will have someone to really get excited about.

missed another cut at the Reno-Tahoe (Stableford scoring) with a watered down field. Another opportunity lost
