W-Soccer: Petrucelli column on SMU site

Postby DanFreibergerForHeisman » Wed Aug 01, 2012 8:02 pm

In case you missed it, the first installment of what is promised to be many of a regular Chris Petrucelli column on smumustangs.com went up yesterday:

All kinds of fascinating stuff in this one. Well worth a read if you care about SMU women's soccer.

This is cool. Most of the attention has always been paid to football and basketball, of course, but the soccer teams have traditionally been really good. It would be cool to see McClements do something like this, too.

In fact, ALL coaches should have a blog like this, whether they write it or whether some PR rep writes it for them, because not only can they reach fans, but these things can be written carefully to get important information out to recruits.

Welcome to SMU, Coach P.

Thanks for the link. I enjoyed reading it.... I hope for our girls that he can bring back some of the greatness that was missing w/the last coach.
