garland rd & peavy.

i have heard the same thing about it. i've been told to get "the coop", which has an egg on top. i hear there will be a nice wait if you go during typical evening dining hours, but the beer selection is supposed to be great, and the burgers, too.

Finally did the Juicy Lucy at Barley House last week. Definitely top notch in the bar food category.

I can't wait to try Goodfriend. I haven't heard a bad word about it yet.

As for Two Rows - I'm in if you are. Let's see if we can get PerunaPunch to step out of his new gig as a corporate bigshot long enough to have a big burger with the common people he used to hang with.

Whatever happened to Whatasteve?

He had one too many 1st & 10 hamburgers and exploded. 8)

I went at lunch today, and it was incredible. Everything from the bun to the toppings was great (the bacon was cut really thick), but the patty itself was out of this world. You know that smell when your neighbor is having a BBQ and the meat on the grill smells so good you start salivating? That's what the burger at Liberty Burger tasted like.

I'm going back - soon.

I went for lunch today.

True about the wait, but well worth it. Greatness.

wow, after all the hype on here about liberty burger, i have to say i was a little underwhelmed.

the patty, while good, was a little on the smaller side. i ended up with a lot of bun left over after the meat was long gone. i had the bacon on it as well, but it seemed average.

the skinny fries were a little too skinny and the onion rings were a little thick for my taste.

overall, i've had many better burgers over the years at 1&10.

i'll give it another try at some point, but definitely did not live up to all the hype.

I agree that their fries and rings aren't perfect, but their burger blew away anything I have had in quite a while.

After today's lunch, allow me to say "Give me Liberty Burger, or ..." well, you know the rest.
